spam...just what is it?

A few people have been asking lately what spam is..

Stupid
Pointless
Annoying
Messages

It's not just small messages like most people may think.. It's messages that either:

1. Have nothing to do with the topic.
2. Repeating what someone else before you said.
3. Not fully posting.. such as commenting on someone's picture and only saying "wow cool".

Stereotypically, spam is usually thought of, as small posts. Because usually they are. But if you write 2 paragraphs about elephants, when the topic is penguins. That's also spam...

If you have any questions such as, "is this post considered spam?" or if you are still unsure, post it here.
