Next to Clothes, Igloos are a penguins main asset. A good igloo is key if a penguin wants to become popular. Most people consider a "good" igloo, a deluxe igloo with 20/30 LCD screens, 5 big screen TV's, a floor-full of mats, and so much junk that you can't see where you are!
Spot the puffle! This is not an ideal party atmosphere. It does show that you have money making skills, but it also shows that you have the class and style of a partially digested gold fish.
Any furniture to be sat on is in a position where people can sit down and see them selves, the TV's are set on different channels, everything is laid out symmetrically, and puffle furniture has been moved out of the way. The dance floors add color, but there aren't so many that it is overwhelming. There is a big space on the first floor to greet people, and a big space on the second for dancing. As well as just looking good, it looks practical and lived in. It is a much more welcoming atmosphere. Also notice that all furniture is inside the igloo.
If you are looking to put on a themed party, the layout should be pretty similar, but with only minor, seasonal changes.
